Ongoing Things is a platform that allows sharing of life developments with people close to you. The platform is not designed or intended for sharing with strangers, publicly on the internet.

You represent and warrant that nothing you add on Ongoing Things will violate or infringe anyone else's rights. You grant Ongoing Things permission to display your content to other Ongoing Things users throughout the app.

Content includes any things you create on the platform, developments you add, media you upload, and more. We collect and store your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Abuse of the platform, including but not limited to the following, is prohibited:

• Creating excessive things or portals or spamming using the platform.
• Using automation tools to access the services without our previous written consent.

Ongoing Things reserves the right to deactivate accounts that violate these terms.

You may use only your own email address for signup.

You gain access to paid functionality upon subscribing to a plan but do not own any software, data, or intellectual property rights associated with Ongoing Things.

You are the owner and the sole responsible for the content you add to Ongoing Things.

You must not misuse the platform or infringe on the rights of others.

Ongoing Things retains intellectual property rights over the platform's design, features, and branding.

All payments made to Ongoing Things are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any payment under any circumstances.

Ongoing Things offers a free plan to trial a limited version of the services which we expect users to take advantage of before deciding to pay.

Ongoing Things is a digital product. Once you have gained access to the paid features, we cannot offer refunds. By completing a payment, you agree to this policy and acknowledge that no refunds will be granted.

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "with all faults" basis. Your use of Ongoing Things is at your own risk. We do not guarantee the availability, reliability, or integrity of our services, including data storage and backups. Whether backups are performed or restored is at our discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ongoing Things disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, or reliability of user-generated content on our platform. We do not monitor such content and assume no liability for it.

Ongoing Things shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from the use or inability to use our services.

In no event shall Ongoing Things' total liability for any claim exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the use of paid services during the six months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of legal theory, even if Ongoing Things has been advised of possible damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes will be resolved under German jurisdiction

If any disputes arise out of or relating to these terms, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, you agree to participate in mediation conducted by a neutral mediator mutually agreed upon, before initiating litigation or arbitration. The cost of mediation shall be shared equally by both parties.

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or within the platform prior to taking effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
